today was another beautiful day in portland so we spent a while today walking around oaks bottom wildlife refuge. there were so many great things to see there&#8230; including a pair of bald eagles! they few right over our heads and perched in a tree. i couldn&#8217;t believe that for the second day in a row [...]]]></description>

<p>today was another beautiful day in portland so we spent a while today walking around <a class="l" onmousedown="return clk(this.href,'','','res','2','')" href="http://www.portlandonline.com/parks/index.cfm?a=93736&amp;c=39872">oaks bottom</a> wildlife refuge. there were so many great things to see there&#8230; including a pair of bald eagles! they few right over our heads and perched in a tree. i couldn&#8217;t believe that for the second day in a row we had an eagle sighting.  unbelievable. </p>
<p>on our way down the trail we noticed these painted patterns along the cracks in the pavement. it looks like someone is keeping track of them as they spread. interesting patterns.</p>
