just finished my first real max for live project.  i created a midi effect that controls my eventide timefactor delay/looping pedal.  it works amazingly well and should be pretty useful.  next up… make a version that can be controlled via monome. (here’s just a rough version of the gui)

the rain is back in portland. here are some photos from around town this afternoon. there were some amazing clouds out there today.

nicole told me about these cute bears that she saw at an antique store a few weeks back.   we happened to go into that store over the weekend and i spotted the same pair.  they were 50% off, so we brought them home and now they live on our mantel.

i made a watercolor of this set of letters tonight.  i’m sure there is a similar existing font but it’s one that i’ve doodled now and then for the last few years.  i think i started it originally as a lettering idea for making stencils.  i had never tried to make a full alphabet in this style before tonight.  the letter z proved to be the hardest to create… i’m still not convinced that it was the best solution.

if anyone wants to use these for anything, have at it.  let me know what you make with them.

hello there.

 i started this blog in hopes that it would be creative catalyst for me.  

my goal is to try and post one thing a day for the next year.
