here is a little piece of music that i made using our old dusty wurlitzer electric piano and a pair of delay pedals (one for echos and the other for looping). i really need to take the piano in to get serviced some time soon. it has some nasty buzzing/grounding issues that i think are pretty common on an instrument this old. you can hear it pretty clearly in this recording… but i kind of like it. it has an old scratchy record feel to me.

nicole and i picked it up for next to nothing at the goodwill, the winter before we left olympia for portland. i remember carrying that heavy thing up the steep flight of stairs up to our apartment on 4th + jefferson, totally thinking that i would drop it all the way down. i’m glad it’s survived this long.
